Buyers with GoDaddy.com accounts – Via email, we request information to identify your GoDaddy.com account. After you provide the information, we initiate transfer of the new domain name to your existing GoDaddy.com account. GoDaddy.com will contact you for authorization to complete the transfer.
Buyers without a domain name registrar – Via email, we request information required to open a new GoDaddy.com account on your behalf. After you provide the information, we request GoDaddy.com establish the new account and transfer in the domain name you purchased. There is no charge for a GoDaddy.com account. GoDaddy.com will contact you for authorization to open the account and complete the transfer.
Buyers with a registrar other than GoDaddy.com
– Via email, we will notify you that payment
has been received and request the name of
your current registrar. You must then
instruct your current registrar to initiate
the transfer of the new name you purchased
to your existing registrar account.
Depending on the current policies of your
existing registrar, there may be a charge
for the domain name transfer.
